It’s the most wonderful time of the year for Fredericton foodies! We’re smack dab in the middle of Dine Around Freddy – an annual celebration of Fredericton’s finest food.
During these three weeks, $35 gets you a carefully crafted three-course dinner from a limited-time, locally sourced menu at some of the city’s best restaurants.
Best of all, several participating chefs took the time to recommend local brews to pair with their meals. We’ve put together a list of just five of them for you to drool over.
Three words: fresh, fresh and fresh. This is just one option from the first course at M&J and its exquisite mix of flavours really pleases the palate!
We can’t think of a better dinner duo than this elevated take on comfort food and a Crimson Ale, both courtesy of Mama’s Brew Pub on the North Side.
This is a pairing well worth loosening your belt for.
Hatchets sold separately.
Few meals are as comforting as a dish of spinach and ricotta dumplings in a rich tomato sauce with braised eggplant, sweet peppers and olives. Add on a brew from Big Axe Brewery? *Insert chef’s kiss*
Not that you need an excuse to enjoy an IPA from King West Brewing, but it can’t hurt to have a special reason to go – such as the classiest pizza ever made. Here’s a meal you’re unlikely to forget. We definitely won’t!
Dine Around Freddy goes until Sunday, March 7th. It’s a great time to get together with your Steady 10 and make some memories. Don’t miss out!
