Acadie-Broue

Acadie-Broue was the first Acadian microbrewery and it set out to make beers that truly represented the region and its culture. The first beer they launched was Tintamarre, a Belgian-style Saison named for an Acadian tradition. Tintamare comes from the Acadian French word for clangour. And that’s exactly what the tradition is, making loud noises in celebration and recognition of Acadian culture. It’s a way for Acadians to show that despite past persecution they are still here.
