Flying Boat Brewing’s name, as well as the names of many of its brews, come from the history of transportation in southeast New Brunswick, including its early aviation, railway, ships, boats, and highway travel. Take their Hercules Black Lager, for instance, it’s named after the first wood-fired steam locomotives. Live music and other events make their taproom an inviting and lively spot to enjoy their beer and the small pieces of history that come with it. You can bring your own food or get some ordered in, meaning that you don’t have to worry about leaving when you get hungry. It’s also a place for the whole family, with non-alcoholic drink options for the little ones.
